Kylie Moriarty's son, Josh, is now fifteen years old and must begin his destiny by going to the Thousand Realms to be trained by Jackie Sheridan and join her team of new teenage heroes. But a baleful encounter with the evil Jupiter Snake forces the raising of Elkaza Island, an island sank by Kylie herself to stop the the spread of highly infectious ghouls. Now the team must find a way to survive on the island until the quarantine is lifted, while surviving the ghouls, and Jupiter. But Josh is not entirely unprepared. Though he doesn't know it at first, Kylie has taught him magic through the tarot, making him a budding magician in his own right. And Madame Kirustinu, the Bre-ayne orc form his mother, is coming to guide and protect him him. But an evil force from the past, worse than Jupiter, has also arisen, and he will stop at nothing to get his deadly revenge.
