I didn't realize how much hold what happened that night still has on me, no one around me understands, but that's ok, I didn't tell them, I never told anyone. I thought I was fine, turned out I was wrong. Keeping secrets is hard, pretending to be fine while keeping secrets, even harder. I left to get away from what happened, but now my friend is in danger, and I have to face my demons, and I've realized that maybe some secrets are better out in the light. I have to go back and tell them, hoping it's not yet too late to reclaim all I left behind.
