In the positions of leadership I have held, I have observed too often that there is a struggle to race to the top, the longing to be what others are and have what others have. This can leave us feeling unfilled, like what we're doing is never enough, and it can keep us from receiving the support we need or giving that support to others. In #wingman, I will not only share my experiences of growing as a leader and a person by working alongside others, but I'll also provide a pathway for you to discover, understand, and grow through the lessons you've received from your own experiences. Whether you're a woman who needs to hear that she is doing great and is appreciated or the man who has a crushed ego, the goal of this book is to help you see your experiences in a new light, renew yourself, and establish the foundation on which you will set your course toward both being a wingman for the people around you, and finding the wingmen you need.
