I took the plane up into the sky to have a coffee with God. To talk about me, about Him, about us. We sat down at a quiet table in an appointed place. The sea was at our feet, and the clouds shaded us. We were floating on white and fluffy thrones, and my body, which felt weighty back on Earth, was light like a leaf carried by the wind. I had been longing for these moments spent with Him. I had missed them so much that when I was back on Earth, they seemed illusions, the fruit of my imagination. But the truth is that I am an angel. An emissary sent to Earth, destined to become complete and faultless beside the people. He told me that I would forget everything when the first raindrops touched my skin. I didn't believe Him, but when I got to Earth, it was raining."A man is worth just as much as he loves," I heard a voice say behind me, the rest is just a tale. Startled, I turned around to see who was speaking. I was looking for some help to settle me in the world, for support to get up from the ground. Nothing around me seemed familiar. Who am I, and what am I doing here?
