Throughout eight months, from March thru October, during 2020, the year of the pandemic crisis, with Pine Lake Manor as the canvas, these writings represent an escape from the daily reminders of the Covid-19 virus and the civil unrest around the country. As a long-time vacationer at PLM, Jonathan Kiddrane, takes the reader on a journey in to the magic the resort offers all people. The zany renderings of going back in time to the beginnings of the resort; memories associated with family gatherings or the vast beauty that surrounds the resort, pays homage to a place many call their home away from home. A brief history of the resort founded in 1924, touches upon the long time dedication of the Baumann family and the ongoing celebration of the American Dream.
