Jewel, a modern-day princess, has a desire to become her true self but lives in an environment that does not create a space for that part of her to grow. As she tries to become what her family would like her to be, she begins to have uncontrollable temper tantrums. Jewel tries hard to ignore the voice inside of her to be different but is unsuccessful. She will soon find out that there is a boy in the neighborhood a few miles away that deeply admires her. When Jewel and the boy meet, they will find that they have some things in common and then their lives will quickly take an unexpected turn.
