Henry V is a set of experiences play by William Shakespeare, accepted to have been written in around 1599. It recounts the account of King Henry V of England, zeroing in on occasions preceding and after the Battle of Agincourt (1415) during the Hundred Years' War. The play is set in England in the mid fifteenth century. The political circumstance in England is tense: King Henry IV has passed on, and his child, the youthful King Henry V, has recently accepted the seat.
