My Dream Bride is a story of a man who fell hopelessly in love with the woman of his dreams the very moment he laid eyes upon her for the very first time. His thoughts were consumed with thoughts of her and all of his attention and focus after seeing her were spent thinking, plotting, and planning how he could possibly arrange to meet up with her again and win her affections. Readers find themselves supporting him and cheering him on throughout the story, knowing he would be devastated if unable to win her affection. My Dream Bride is written in first person perspective which allows the reader to more easily identify with the main character. The setting of the story is in Africa, and much of the traditions, values, and ways of life are beautifully portrayed within this story.
