About the Author. Nicole Moehring is a mother, wife, and survivor of domestic, emotional, verbal, psychological, financial, and mental abuse. She has suffered greatly with tremendously low self-esteem, self-worth, self-confidence in herself, and believing that she has never been good enough. She is also the founder of a nonprofit organization, Voices of Change 2018, and an awarding winning advocate and public speaker for children with disabilities. Nicole is choosing to share her personal story of the years of abuse, ultimate survival, and the difficult road to recovery, because these things are real issues we face as a society, more than we know, more than people talk about. This has not been an easy road, but Nicole has chosen to use all the negative experiences she has encountered in her life, and all the times she overcame adversity to help empower others.

Nicole hopes her story, strength, bravery, persistence, courage, and determination will inspire someone else to keep going and never give up.
