Grinderman | 2025 Reissues

Grinderman sprang to life in 2006, born from Nick Cave’s desire to shed the weight of his main band, The Bad Seeds, and tap into something more visceral and unfiltered. Featuring Nick Cave on guitar and vocals alongside Bad Seeds partners Warren Ellis, Martyn P. Casey, and Jim Sclavunos, the group embraced a raw, garage‑punk energy that harked back to Cave’s early work with The Birthday Party. The spirit of Grinderman went on to have a rejuvenating impact on Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, unleashing a renewed sense of freedom and audacity in their subsequent acclaimed work.

Now, Grinderman’s distinct voice, equal parts primal thunder and lyrical wit, is being revisited. Their two studio albums, Grinderman and Grinderman 2, along with the remix collection Grinderman 2 Rmx, are set to be reissued on vinyl and CD on July 18, 2025.
