V for Vendetta

Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving star in this sci-fi action drama based on the comic book series by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, the film follows a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked man known only as 'V' (Weaving). Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he urges his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression.
