2010 compilation that collects the celebrated A-sides of singles issued by the London-American label in 1962. London-American was the prime UK outlet for U.S. hits in the 1950s and 1960s, introducing the British public to America's biggest stars. The contents of the 1962 volume embrace teen, Country, early Soul, R&B, Rock 'n' Roll, instrumentals and comedy and accurately sum up the label's entire output for that year. Many of the era's biggest names are featured, and several of the biggest hits. 28 tracks. Ace Records.
