Almost 80 years after Pablo Casals finished recording the Cello Suites by Bach, and 70 years after the last ones were first published, these recordings remain absolutely

iconic. They are now released again on vinyl in a luxury edition of 3 LPs in a wibalin box.

"The Bach Suites are a monument to be studied, learned by heart, communed with, and made a part of one-self. At least, this is the way they sound when Casals plays them, and his interpretation is a classic in the best sense of the word." Gramophone

Recorded in 1936 (Suites Nos. 2 & 3), 1938 (Suites Nos. 1 & 6) & 1939 (Suites Nos. 4 & 5) // Mono - Remastered from the original tapes in 24-BIT/96KHZ at Abbey Road Studios in 2011.
