Dead Club City Nothing but Thieves

Nothing But Thieves are making a bold statement with their return, as they embark on an innovative new chapter with their fourth album, titled "Dead Club City." Their socially insightful lyrics and skillful exploration of diverse genres define the band's sound, allowing them to experiment and evolve.

In their upcoming 11-track album, the band introduces us to the exclusive world of "dead club city," a members only club. Each track on the album represents different characters and story arcs intertwined within this mysterious city. Is it a collective consciousness? An extraterrestrial realm? A dystopian future? Heaven? Or perhaps something entirely different?

Using the club as it's focal point, it's easy to identify real-world significance behind Dead Club City. The album explores various themes such as advertising, unity, internet culture, the music industry, aging, politics, and the desire for escapism and change. Through the lens of an exclusive members-only club, the album sheds light on the feelings of alienation and privilege associated with these topics.
