Promised Future
Carl Verheyen
'Promised Future' is 7 'road tested' CVB originals, which is better than 100 rehearsals. Plus 2 covers: our live version of 'Take the Long Way Home' is a tribute to Rick Davies, my dear friend & mentor who we lost last year. And 'Light Shine' by Jesse Colin Young. I wrote to Jesse as a teenage fan, amazingly he wrote me back! Finding that letter inspired our version, perfectly closing the album.
