2014 collection of classic tracks recorded by Country icon George Jones. Country music existed before and after George Jones, but there are very few artists who have left the kind of impact he did on the genre. George Jones' vocals never sounded better than on his beautiful love song from 1969, "I'll Share My World with You." It was a #2-hit in 1969. In 1968, George Jones had a #12-hit titled "Milwaukee Here I Come." the high-energy song presents George Jones' good-timin' vocals at their best. No one can imbue a Country song with deep emotion like George Jones. "When the Grass Grows Over Me," Jones' #2-hit in 1969, is a prime example. "The Race Is On" is listed as one of George Jones' best 10 songs, which says a lot. It landed at #3 on the record charts in 1964 and it is now one of George Jones' quintessential hit recordings.
