Los Ruffino were one of the most popular acts in the golden days of 1950 's Havana. A quartet of incredible voices featuring impeccably close harmonies; they quickly became stars of early Cuban television and nightclubs. It was no coincidence that their voices were so incredibly matched for this was a family collective consisting of Mama Ruffino, Papa Ruffino, son Carlos and daughter Julie. Their infectious live show offered them opportunities to tour the best stages in the United States, Europe and Latin America - yet for all their legendary status, their exists very few recordings of their magical sound and unique brand of vocal gymnastics. Recorded in Cuba in the late 1950 's, this CD provides a rare glimpse into the magic of one of the most popular and unique acts to ever grace a Cuban stage. All selections newly re-mastered.
