Susan Wong

Close to You 25th Anniversary Susan Wong

“Close To You,” originally released in 2002, is Susan Wong’s groundbreaking debut album. The Chinese-Australian singer quickly established herself as one of the most beloved voices on the audiophile music scene: each of her performances is delivered with a natural, captivating presence that showcases her flawless phrasing and emotional depth. Thanks to its intimate atmosphere, tasteful and unpretentious arrangements, and Susan Wong’s distinctive and soulful vocals, “Close To You” remains an absolute fan favorite. The tracklist is a masterclass in light jazz and soft pop, featuring fantastic cover versions of classics like “Close To You,” “Stay Awhile,” “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” and “Love Will Keep Us Alive.”

Evosound is now releasing this album, which is highly popular not only among audiophiles, for the first time as a Hybrid SACD (Dual-Layer) with outstanding sound quality. The meticulously remastered version includes a booklet with new liner notes. We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
