Ullman / Kupke / Nabicht
The second Leo Records CD by three German clarinet masters Gebhard Ullmann and Theo Nabicht (bass clarinets), and Jurgen Kupke (clarinet) highlights the different approaches the musicians used to create the compositions. The 17 piece album features styles from jazz to New Orleans to improvised to avant garde, showcasing the entire history of the clarinet and it's repertoire. Liner notes by Dan Warburton.
