Soopasoul is most definitely a name synonymous with the UK funk 45s scene. Demand for cuts from his revered album 'Twin Stix' see the reissue of 7" single 'Hot & Cold'. This floor-shuffling, hip-swaying, jazz funk party monster is packed with Hammond slaying, funky beats and some hefty brass action. Lead track 'Hot & Cold' features a mind blowing vocal from Brighton belle Dionne Charles (Tru Thoughts) who oozes with as much soul and sass as greats such as Lyn Collins and Marva Whitney! On the flip, the true funk extravaganza 'Hustlin', a Blaxploitation-esque gem, riddled with booty shaking breaks and another infectious retro brass hook that has become his signature hallmark.
