SIGNED EDITIONAfter almost three decades on stage, Mike Andersen presents his 10th studio album – an 'in the moment' and honest work, created in close collaboration with producer Christian Ki. The album will be released on September 19, 2025.

Mike Andersen has always been known to go his own way and to pursuing own sound – rather than leaning on genre definitions and dogmas. On this 10th album, his palette of musical references is broader than ever, and the result is a work that both surprises and feels deeply personal. The songs revolve around the intense experiences that follow in the years after a divorce – both the ups and downs. It's about finding your footing again, about longing, doubt, change and hope. With honesty and presence, Mike invites the listener into a period that has left deep marks – humanly and musically.

The album was created in a space where Mike and Christian Ki spent most of their time – just the two of them. Without any fixed plans and driven solely by inspiration and desire, they let the music take shape organically. The original idea was to create the album in collaboration with several different producers – but that never happened.

“I started with Christian Ki, and I never moved on. The energy and inspiration were there from the first meeting—and it quickly became clear to me that we were going to make the whole album together,” says Mike Andersen.

The album consists of 10 original songs. The two singles “Only For You” and “Don't Waste Your Time” showcase the breadth of the upcoming album: from the stripped-down and acoustic to the hard-hitting and electric. Together, they paint a picture of an experience where contrasts are allowed to coexist.

The collaboration with Christian Ki has resulted in an album with both nerve and curiosity – where the raw and the refined stand side by side. Together, the two have created a sound that feels fresh and free, but still bears the unmistakable mark of Mike Andersen.
