Limited reissue of the original Atlantic pressing of one of THE undisputed anthems of classic house music. Originally released in 1987, Someday was an inspired collaboration marrying the raw driving house sound of Chicago legend Marshall Jefferson with the sweet and hauntingly soulful voice of New York’s Ce Ce Rogers to create one of the seminal moments of house music history. A sublimely beautiful record, its popularity (it was sampled heavily by many later dance acts) has not lessened its impact - right from the opening moments, this track with its unmistakable piano riffs, sweeping chords and loving conscious vocals is literally breathtaking in its emotional power. An undeniable masterpiece, this is 100% essential for all lovers of proper house music.
