Perfect Imperfection James D. Rapp 1. izdaja

Poems to suit every mood: whimsical, thoughtful, meditative, devotional prophetic, reflective. Perfect Imperfection is a large and varied collection of the poetry of Jim Rapp. In Sandals: The Journey of Abraham and Sarah & Hagar, Jim focused his attention upon a single family whose lives still reverberate and intrude upon our Evening News . In Perfect Imperfection he has created poems that reveal his engagement with the wider world, a world in which he sees much to love, much to praise, much to enjoy, and much to be concerned about. The section titles reveal the breadth of his interests: Seeing the World - love of nature; Astigmatism - unique and often whimsical views of the stuff of life; The Mystery of Luminosity - a reverential suite of poems about the moon; Concentrated Light - reflections upon creative endeavor; What Mean These Stones - remembrances of past places, people, and events; The Prophet's Eye - an unblinking look at the sins and foibles of our modern world; Heart's Ease: The Home of Heart - expressions of faith; Rumors of Eden - longing for healing and restoration of a troubled world; A Divine Mystery - celebrations of the Advent season. There is something in this collection for every taste and every mood.
