Fast Freddy's Big Race
Rob Feldman
Fast Freddy is fast. REALLY fast. And he can't wait for the day of the Big Race...when he can prove it to the world. But when the Big Race is about to begin, something happened that shakes Fast Freddy's world of fastness to the core. The book is a fun mix of nonsense, educational facts, and life lessons for the main character, Fast Freddy. Fast Freddy's Big Race is a quirky look at comparative speeds of various animals, people, vehicles, and forces of physics. Then Fast Freddy gets discouraged when he realizes that there are some ( quite a few in fact ) that are faster than him. But a great pep talk by Rabbit sets him straight. The book concludes with 'Fast Freddy's Extra Pages of Fastness' packed with fun trivia about speed in the animal kingdom and in history.
