The Hooligan Poet
Matty Mccourt
A book of poetry and rhymes from the working class roots of a person who always feels the odds are stacked against him. From being bullied mentally and physically as a child, to watching his single mother have two jobs and work hard to raise him on a tough council estate.
His feelings on the clashes with the police to the ordeals suffered at work by bullyboy employees, and how he feels about the world and politics.
Only really finding comfort and people he could trust from the terraces, doorwork and down at the boxing gym.
