Jotham Marichetti dropped his Indian name when he returned to Northern Wisconsin. The Chippewa had called him Ahmeek, the Beaver, when he was a child, but as a law school graduate he would have to go back to the name his mother gave him. He would never forget, however, his Indian friends from childhood.
