Similarly, step by step instructions are given for the joining of glass tubes, making T tubes and other simple forms needed for parts in the step by step description of fabricating cold fingers, condensers, etc. The technique of "annealing" glass constructs to reduce stress/strains setup by uneven cooling is emphasized throughout.
