... and Love Laughed: a Credo in Poetic Verse
Steve Goad
People think that God is angry, the commandments are strict, Jesus was weak, the Holy Spirit is a gift giver... In reality, everything in creation is a gift from God who is love. "... and LOVE laughed" is a free-verse poem, looking at life from creation until now, and telling the story of love that is created in each of us, and how God, in that love, has been with creation every step of the way. A quote worth noting: "His Holiness, Pope Francis... appreciates the devoted sentiments which prompted this thoughtful presentation. The Holy Father gives the assurance of remembrance in his prayers and sends his blessings." Monsignor Peter B. Wells, Assessor, Secretary of State, The Vatican.
