Dream Horses: A Poster Book
Deborah Burns
There's something magical, almost mystical, about horses. Our earliest ancestors felt it--on the walls and ceilings of the caves of Lascaux and Altamira are magnifcent images of horses that were painted 40,000 years ago.
In Dream Horses: A Poster Book, Bob Langrish, one of the world's leading equine photographers, continues the tradition of celebrating the beauty, the power, and the mystery of the horse. Horse-crazy kids will be enchanted by the book's 30 spectacular poster-size photographs. Horse-loving adults who appreciate fantasy photography will be awestruck by Langrish's superb compositions. With the sure hand of a master, he has manipulated these images so that each shot has a fantastical, even mythological quality.
These dreamlike scenes, accompanied by inspired text, tell a story that is otherworldly, and yet still familiar.
