Do you struggle to recognize notes in your violin music? Is it hard to remember where each note is? Or are you just starting your violin journey and know you want a strong foundation? The Learning the Notes on the Violin series can help!
Starting with open A, this book teaches you the violin notes on the A string, one at a time. Short exercises and songs are interspersed with note-speller pages and workbook pages for time signatures and note-drawing.
Learning the Notes on the A String works well for young beginners, students who are starting to read music after using an aural-focused method, violin students at any age who are having difficulty with note-reading, and self-taught students.
This book is an expanded edition of The A-String Book for Violin (now out of print) and includes approximately 20 additional pages of learning aids for note-reading!
This book can be followed by Learning the Notes on the Violin, Books 2, 3, and 4.
Conquer note-reading today and open up the wide world of sheet music!
