The Brave Chicken
Scott Wyler
In this fun and inspirational children's picture book aimed at ages 0 to 8, a chicken wants to do something brave, so he decides to explore a cave. All the other chickens in town tell him to sit and cluck like they do. His parents are horrified, his friends desert him, and Chicken Freud thinks he's crazy. But the chicken is intent on following his dream and he is not swayed by the heavy peer pressure. Finally he meets a butterfly who helps him find a cave. In it he discovers wonderful things! And when he returns home all the chickens think he's the bravest chicken of all.
Written in wonderful rhyming couplets in the style of Dr. Seuss, this story is perfect for early readers, and for parents and teachers to read aloud to their children. Adults will love it too!
