I realize that the reason why the gleefulness of the wedding day is usually short-lived in many marriages, and, indeed, soon metamorphosize into gloominess in many others, is because most couples are nothing beyond two different persons thinly coupled or welded together! Most couples are nothing but a pair of equal-but-opposite forces acting along parallel lines! There are no meeting points in their relationship where the two hearts are permanently fused together; bodily, they are seen to be "One", but their souls are worlds (if not eternity) apart!

By the grace of God, we shall be sharing together in this book some salient dimensions of relationship congruous to making our marriages grow and develop to the blissful and blessed height of glory purposed by God in the very beginning.
