Fires of a False Allah by Brian G. Angevine Randy Waters serves as the last line of defense in a terrorist plot to disrupt law enforcement in Colorado in preparation for a bigger event. Pairs of terrorists scatter all over Colorado starting forest fires. The last pair of individuals are heading over Cuchara Pass to impact the Trinidad area. Waters confronts the two along the highway at Stonewall, a unique geographic feature radiating from the twin peaks. One man is killed while the other escapes into the nearby mountains. Waters pursues him and the story culminates in a shootout.
