Water Under My Bridge
Rudy Thompson
WATER UNDER MY BRIDGE is the first-hand story of a young man who signed up for the Naval Reserve V-6 Program in 1940, and wound up sailing the Pacific Northwest to the Aleutian Islands on small craft during World War II. While Alaska was still a territory of the United States, he spent four of those years stationed in the Aleutian Islands, and then back to the states in places like Puget Sound and the San Francisco Bay Area in 1945. Now nearing 106 years of age, Rudy Thompson has written his story of adventure with humor and captivating detail.
