Norse Mythology Travis Bradley

"It's amazing how in a world as cold as ice there are emotions that burn like fire."

In ancient times, among the majestic scenery of the Scandinavian lands, the deeds of heroes and warriors forged the tradition of the Nordic peoples. The original myths and tales, initially transmitted only orally from generation to generation, were then transcribed and brought to the present day.

Thus was born the Norse Mythology. A real world of gods and great heroes that tells a vision of the cosmos in a unique way.

We find ourselves in northern Europe among the Vikings originating in Scandinavia, Denmark and northern Germany.

Great fighters and often depicted as bloodthirsty, they were actually also cultured people with a strong identity and culture. Therefore they had their own clear cosmology and a series of divine figures that, through tales and legends, contained their explanation to what was happening in their world, to the meaning of life and of everything that surrounded them.

Inside "Norse Mythology: Discovering the Nordic Myths: a journey through Gods, Heroes and Legends that have made great the Myths of the North." by Mythologist Vittorino D'Ancona, you will be immersed in this world and you will discover its history.
