From hospitals lacking essential supplies to tired and overworked nurses delivering babies with the light from their cellphones, this book examines some of the challenges of birth in Malawi. Through interviews with professors, nurses, and mothers, we'll hear about the struggles first-hand and be a part of the solution. Proceeds from each book purchased will go towards needed supplies and equipping those on the front lines of the Malawian birth crisis.
