Meet the Fluffs! R W Hershey

Put aside all the problems of the world you know now, and drift back into the world you knew then.... Fluffs are stuffed animals that come to life in the mind's eye. Children know all about them, but somewhere along the way, grownups have forgotten that part of themselves so they can focus on important, grownup things. So the Fluffs would like to remind you of what you may have forgotten, but certainly never lost - your imagination. Meet the Fluffs! is really two books in one. Part One reads as a novella, introducing the quirky characters and describing how they all came to live together in Irene's room. Here you'll meet Isabelle the tiny, chocolate-loving sheep who's always getting into mischief, and her best friend Molasses, an impossibly soft bunny with a keen nose for cookies. Then there's Sebastian, a timid mouse who lives in a sock, and Siegfried the squirrel, a bookish though curmudgeonly intellectual who's a constant source of amusement for the energetic young ones. Floating high above are Mr. Ladybug and Starmix, who exist simply to exude joy, while Morgana the fairy and her gentle companion Buurman are the sensible ones, even though Buurman sometimes likes to pretend that he's a pirate. Then, in Part Two's short stories, you'll travel in the Wishing Hat with the Fluffs on some of their adventures, places like Iceland, Madagascar, and even the North Pole! Meet the Fluffs! is here to remind you that it's ok to smile again, that it's ok to lose yourself in the world of imagination. So take a break and come along on an adventure with these "children's stories for grownups (and children too)" - your Fluffs miss you!
