The Tearstone
Grevedan M Deveril
When the Goddess weeps, great power is unleashed. A magical stone drives the action. Another earthling finds herself in Mídhris to meet a descendant of Ian Darkslayer and find herself in an impossible situation. This volume moves from epic poem (vols. 1-2) to medieval romance and is capped off with an old man's fantastic tale told to his grandchildren. The history of Mídhris grows, along with the story of the Dyrnedons of Yorkshire. A new side of Ian Darkslayer emerges a century later. Magic remains but no demons this time. It is more a matter of what can be believed when dealing with the unbelievable. Adult hearts are tested and the imagination of children is stretched. Welcome back to the parallel world encountered in volumes 1 and 2.
