Ten Years After | Ssssh (2025 Remix)
Fifty-six years on from its original 1969 release, Ssssh.—the bold, blues-rock breakthrough from Ten Years After—returns in its most expansive edition yet. Carefully curated by Chrysalis, this deluxe reissue brings listeners the album in a newly remixed and half-mastered format, along with a long-lost live performance from the winter of 1969.
The 2LP edition offers a fresh 2025 stereo mix, remixed by Charlie Russell at Soho Studios using the original 7-track 1″ master tapes, ensuring exceptional clarity and depth. The flip side features a previously unreleased live recording from the Finnish radio archives—a stunning December 3, 1969 performance at Kulttuuritalo Hall in Helsinki—captured just months after the band’s legendary Woodstock appearance. The vinyl is cut at half-speed by Phil Kinrade at AIR Mastering and presented in a reverse-board gatefold sleeve complete with new liner notes by Nigel Williamson, a testimonial from Joe Bonamassa, and rare, previously unseen photos.
The 3CD edition also features the new 2025 remix and the live performance from Helsinki, as well as the original 1969 mix. Like the LP edition, it also includes new liner notes, a Bonamassa statement and rare photos.
