Bay Area thrash legends Testament return in full force with their fourteenth studio album, Para Bellum. After a five-year gap since Titans of Creation (2020), Para Bellum introduces new blood with drummer Chris Dovas, whose speed and dynamic range inject fresh energy into Testament’s signature style. Founding guitarist Eric Peterson and long-time frontman Chuck Billy lead the charge, forging songs that retain the band’s thrash roots while pushing into heavier, more melodic, and even atmospheric territory.
