Nanni Moretti writes, directs and stars in this biographical drama. April 1996 sees two turning points in Moretti's life: the birth of his first child and the victory of the centre-left in the Italian Presidential elections. Unfortunately, both events occur simultaneously, and the film-maker describes the chaos he finds himself in as the big day approaches.
