Snakehead

Action thriller written and directed by Evan Jackson Leong. Tse (Shuya Chang) travels to New York from China via a human trafficker known as a Snakehead, searching for the daughter she lost custody of when she went to jail years before. In debt to Dai Mah (Jade Wu), the ruthless matriarch of a powerful crime family, Tse works her way up within the organisation, all the while dreaming of escaping servitude and reuniting with her daughter.
