His guitar playing is the most innovative and complex of all the early blues greats and his piano playing too has fascinated fans for the now almost 100 years since these records were made. His singing is totally unique in its high eerie delivery and has a haunting effect. Skip’s early recordings are presented here in dramatically improved new fidelity that offers even more testimony to his greatness.

Includes all time classics like "Devil Got My Woman" from which Robert Johnson derived his "Hell Hound On My Trail", "I'm So Glad" and "Drunken Spree."
