Originally released in 1999, ‘Speak & Destroy’ featured standout tracks like ‘Terror’, ‘Blasphemous Girl’ & an irresistible cover of the Gloria Jones classic 'Tainted Love', solidifying the band’s rising status in the alternative & metal scenes. Razor sharp songwriting coupled with an unapologetic, in your face attitude made My Ruin & ‘Speak & Destroy’ a cult favourite for fans of heavy, uncompromising music.

Founded by vocalist Tairrie B, My Ruin became known for their fierce DIY ethos, defiant lyrics & Tairrie’s commanding vocal presence. ‘Speak & Destroy’ was their raw, blistering debut, a statement of intent that pushed boundaries & resonated with fans of alternative & heavy music worldwide.
