Skillet Lickers
Document Records marks 100 years since the first recordings of Gid Tanner & The Skillet Lickers with this limited edition vinyl release. Recorded in Atlanta for Columbia Records, the group helped shape early commercial country music. This album highlights key performances, pressed on blue 180g vinyl and limited to 300 copies, with rare 1920s photographs and illustrated notes by Russ Tanner.
