Bermuda Triangle

Arranger, composer, pianist Don Randi establishing a reputation as a leading session musician in the late 1950's, and in the early 1960's became a major contributor to producer Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound." His piano graces both Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made for Walking" and the Beach Boy's "Good Vibrations." Over the course of the years Randi has played on over 300 hit records, working with artists such as Quincy Jones, Frank Zappa, Linda Ronstadt and countless others. In 1970, Randi opened his own night club in Studio City, California and put together his own group, Don Randi & Quest, to serve as the house band. The band has subsequently released over 15 albums including the Grammy nominated "New Baby" in 1980. Presented here is their critically acclaimed 1977 album "Bermuda Triangle," featuring Chuck Camper (reeds); Darryl Manninen (guitar); Dave Edelstein (bass); Steve Turner (drums) and Don Randi (keyboards); with vocalists Susie Allason, Tret Fure and Norma Randi. All selections newly remastered.
