which artists to seek out for further material. For some, like One String Sam, the search will be quick as he only

originally recorded two tracks, or Baby Boy Warren who only cut ten back then, whilst others have extensive

catalogues to explore. Most here faded into obscurity, which for serious blues fans will only make them more

attractive, but taken as a whole this wonderful collection serves as a real testament to the raw and pioneering spirit of

these blues men.
