Before the world knew Bob Dylan, songs were inevitably about a boy-girl relationship or about dancing. Due to his folk background, Bob Dylan songs had a poetic and existential lyric content which after him was incorporated into rock culture. That's how we can find among Dylan fans legendary artists such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jack White and even Guns N'Roses, who achieved great success with their own version of Knockin' On Heaven's Door. Some of the the songs on this release, have been rescued in the shape of the Bootleg Sessions that Dylan himself released, opening his vault for some of his lost and rare recordings. Others are real gems from his lesser known songbook.
