The legendary brotherhood of midnight marauders & purveyors of hi-tek soul, Fat Freddy's Drop, have more than delivered on their promise, with their debut studio album 'Based On A True Story'. Rediscover the sound that made the group so incredibly popular, with their 'Live At The Matterhorn' album, which sees the seven-piece in inspired improvisational form at the infamous Welli Club in Cuba Street, NZ way back in 2001. Unavailable for almost a year now, 'Live At The Matterhorn' was the album that started the ball rolling for Fat Freddy's Drop's current success. Hear the beginnings of the Fat Freddy's sound & the accuracy of their craft on this seminal NZ roots reggae release! 2005.
